Oyster is bringing together a small group of senior leaders across public sector housing for a private breakfast focused on how organisations are responding to increasing regulatory pressure and the impact this is having on leadership, structure and delivery.

The regulatory landscape continues to evolve at pace, with greater scrutiny, higher expectations and increasing accountability placed on housing providers. As a result, leadership teams are being challenged to rethink how they operate, how they structure their teams and how they deliver against both compliance and performance objectives.

Discussion Topics
Drawing on conversations across the sector, we’ll explore:

  • How organisations are responding to Local Government Reorganisation and structural change
  • The impact of consumer regulation and ratings on leadership priorities
  • Preparing for and responding to Awaab’s Law
  • The ongoing implications of the Building Safety Act
  • The introduction of professional standards in housing and what this means for hiring and leadership capability
  • How regulatory pressure is shaping organisational design, culture and decision making

The Conversation
This is not a presentation or a sales session.  It’s a peer discussion under Chatham House rules, designed to bring together senior leaders to share insight, challenges and practical experiences in a closed and trusted environment.
