Oyster Partnership has been shortlisted for the ‘Best Company To Work For (under 50 people)’, along with consultant Sohan Modi shortlisted for ‘Best Temporary Consultant of the Year’ and Jaspreet Bhogal for ‘Transforming Lives – Best Candidate Experience’ at the 2017 IRP Awards.
Established in 2004, Oyster Partnership is a market-leading Recruitment Agency based in London specialising in Property across the Public and Private sector.
Oyster Partnership’s Managing Director, Sasza Bandiera commented on the shortlists:
“We’re incredibly proud to have been shortlisted for these three awards across a competitive global market. Oyster Partnership is rapidly growing and we place a particular emphasis on employee development, which we like to think has been highlighted with our recent shortlists” said Sasza.
27-year-old Sohan shortlisted as Best Temporary Consultant, started with the Oyster Partnership in 2014 as a Trainee Consultant after studying a Law Conversion degree. Sohan is now a Managing Consultant and positioned as the team’s most successful biller. He manages two divisions, including one of the second largest teams across the business.
When asked about the award, Sohan said:
“I am so grateful and honoured to be shortlisted. Working in an industry and a company I love makes it all the more gratifying. Hopefully, it will add even more determination for members of my team to see what can be achieved with hard work, dedication and integrity” Sohan said.
Jaspreet shortlisted as ‘Jobs Transform Lives: Best Candidate Experience’, joined Oyster as a Trainee Consultant in 2011. Taking over the small but successful Housing Management desk, she was determined to grow and strengthen her department. Now positioned as Divisional Manager with her team of nine billers, on average they place 50 new temporary roles per month working alongside some of the largest public and private sector organizations in the country.
“To be shortlisted in this category means a lot as I’m very aware that recruiters have a reputation of picking up and putting down candidates as and when they need them. I’ve always believed that candidates are just as important as clients and it’s an ethos I’ve tried to instill in our new recruits from day one” Jaspreet said.
Now in its ninth year, the IRP Awards are the only recruitment sector awards hosted and awarded by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC). Unmatched in prestige, the IRP Awards present a unique platform upon which to celebrate the successes of the brightest recruitment professionals and companies within the UK.
REC chief executive Kevin Green said:
“We’ve been hugely impressed by the quality of entries this year, which shows how highly these awards are valued by recruiters. Our members change lives and help businesses succeed, and the IRP Awards are an opportunity to celebrate the positive impact our industry makes. There’s so much talent within recruitment – the shortlisted individuals and companies are real ambassadors for the high standards we expect” Green said.
The winners of the 2017 IRP Awards will be announced at a ceremony in London on Wednesday 6 December. For the full shortlist for the 2017 IRP Awards, visit www.irpawards.com/shortlist
Oyster Partnership was also awarded a three-year accreditation against the ‘Investors in People Standard’ (IIP) in June of this year, demonstrating commitment to high performance through good people management.
