Post-uni, Sam didn’t really have a clue what he fancied doing. It’s the classic situation; three years to get a degree, absolutely zero idea what to do with it. So, when he stumbled across Recruitment, he was pretty excited to have found something that played to his strengths – talkative, understanding, and game for a laugh. Luckily, he’d found his home at Oyster.

What makes Sam good at his job?

Being talkative is a great attribute when you spend 8 hours of your day on the phone, and Sam doesn’t get sick of it. He’s a very intuitive person, picking up on nuance of tone and inference to help him navigate any tricky conversations, and he’s happy to persist until he gets what he needs. Plus, it doesn’t make him good at his job, but he will demonstrate how he can eat a banana without using his hands if you ask him.

Where is Sam going after work?

With his mates to the pub, and then home to watch Eastenders. Because apparently, Sam’s secretly an old man. He does insist he has hidden depths though, so watch this space.
