#OPNews: Three shortlisted Awards for IRP 2018!
Oyster Partnership is thrilled to announce that we have been shortlisted for three Institute of Recruitment Professionals awards!
In the first of three awards, our Managing Director, Sasza Bandiera, has been shortlisted for ‘Business Leader of the Year’. This award recognizes a business leader who continually looks at ways to improve the business; supports and motivates employees; adds value to all of our processes carried out and transcends the traditional role as a “boss”. Sasza has over 10 years’ experience in the property recruitment industry, having worked his way up from a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to MD. Sasza clearly demonstrates what it takes to succeed and how you should never give up on what you want to achieve. He has been instrumental in the company’s growth from joining the business in its infancy 10 years ago to the successful business it is today and we are delighted that he has been shortlisted for this award.
Our second shortlist is for ‘Best Company To Work For’; across the business we are all in consensus that Oyster Partnership has that ‘je ne sais quoi’. Our diverse and collaborative team all want success but not at the expense of anyone else. We work hard together to create a business to be proud of, building long-lasting business relationships in the property industry. As a team we are proud to be part of the journey and the sense of purpose it gives to each one of us, and with Glassdoor reviews like ‘it could change your life forever’ and ‘the environment is second to none’ could this be the year that we bring home this prestigious prize?
Lastly the third award is one that we are truly humble to have been shortlisted for; ‘Corporate and Social Responsibility Practitioners of the Year’. Sasza leads by example and makes it paramount that across the business, we give back to our community. In a relatively new initiative, each employee is given two days a year to volunteer at a charity of choice. Last year we saw employees offer their services at Age Concern, Roots & Shoots, Help for Heroes and The Octavia Foundation. The team also hold regular fundraising events throughout the year which raise money alongside our corporate donations that we make. At Oyster we believe that carrying out CSR builds a different type of working relationship with colleagues allowing them to see a different side to their personality, making work as a whole more meaningful.

Oyster Partnership were also shortlisted for two Investors In People Awards: The People’s Choice for Manager Of The Year: Jaspreet Bhogal and Excellence in Social Responsibility. The international Standard defines what it takes to lead, support and manage people well for sustainable results!
