Looking for an Experienced Local Authority Closure Specialist.

I hope you are well.

I am working with a West Midlands based council who is looking for an interim Year End Technical Accountant. This role will be remote and the day rate will be between £500-£600.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Close-down of Council’s Statutory Accounts
  • Complete outstanding financial statement notes
  • Attend weekly Auditor’s meetings
  • Ensuring updated CIPFA, IFRS, IAS’s, FRS’s accounting policies applied to the statutory accounts.
  • Liaise with Budget holder
