Trading Standards Officer

What’s in it for you

· £35 to £42 per hour (£75,600 annually)

· A council based in Hertfordshire- Central England

· A 6 month initial contract

· This council take a flexible hybrid working approach

What will be expected from you

· An in-depth understanding of Trading Standards legislation- Product Safety, Doorstep crime, Counterfeit Goods etc

· The ability to carry out enforcement and investigation activities

· Dealing with complaints and advising businesses

· Presenting evidence in court if necessary
