Temporary Accommodation Officer

I am currently working alongside a local authority based in the West Midlands area who are looking for a temporary accommodation officer to join their team on an initial 6 month contract.

They are a great team to be a part of and being a small local authority they have a very good team morale and a friendly nature across the homeless sector.

The position would require the chosen individual to travel into the office 3 days a week possibly more depending on the number of property inspections needed a week

The job requirements would include the following:

• Give Landlords advice in line with legislation?
• Able to be communicate effectively with a range of people, particularly landlords
• Knowledge of Homelessness Reduction Act 2017, including Suitability of Accommodation
• Carry out property inspections inline with the Housing Legislation's
• Immediately available to interview
