Senior Site Engineer

Can you help save the day? A Council is taking over the direct delivery of a residential project following the main contractor going into administration.

They need a Senior Site Engineer to join them on a contract basis to play a key role in managing the construction through to completion.

Here are the key aspects:

• Precision Interpretation & Execution: You'll be responsible for interpreting site, topographical, and construction drawings, including rebar schedules, ensuring all work is carried out in line with contract specifications.
• Quality Assurance & Documentation: You'll maintain detailed records, site diaries, and quality assurance documents, ensuring every phase of the project is compliant with regulations and documented meticulously.
• Communication & Coordination: Work closely with the client and the entire site team to ensure smooth operations. From managing materials and forecasting to overseeing sub-contractors, your role will be pivotal in driving project success.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure the safety of the site by managing necessary permits, implementing health and safety measures, and overseeing compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for clients, inspectors, and contractors, ensuring the project progresses smoothly and all inspections are completed to the highest standards.
• Project Planning: Assist with integrating key information and timelines into the program of works, keeping the project on schedule and within budget
