I am working with an award-winning, multidisciplinary consultancy with over 36 years of experience in town planning, architecture, and masterplanning. They have a proven track record of delivering high-quality, commercially focused projects ranging from small schemes to large-scale housing and regeneration initiatives.
They are seeking a Senior/Principal Planner to join their dynamic team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct planning appraisals and promote sites through Local Plans.
• Prepare and manage planning applications, appeals, and advocacy reports.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver planning projects.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and manage stakeholder engagement.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to fee proposals and tenders.
What They’re Looking For:
• A degree in a relevant subject, eligible for or holding RTPI chartered membership.
• Proven planning experience in consultancy or local authority.
• Strong analytical, report writing, and client management skills.
• A proactive attitude, excellent time management, and the ability to work collaboratively.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a car.
