Looking for a step up in your career? Feeling like you're not being rewarded fairly for your hard work? I may have just the thing.
I'm working with a Warwickshire-based local authority who are looking for a Senior Environmental Health Officer to join their Private Sector Housing team on an initial 3-month contract.
You’ll be stepping in to lead 3 officers to respond to service requests, dealing with HHSRS inspections, HMO Licensing and Empty Homes.
You’ll be given enforcement powers which will allow you to serve statutory notices, collate evidence and attend Courts of Law and Tribunals to enforce the housing standards legislation.
What’s in it for me?
- Initial 3-month contract with a likely extension
- £40 - £45 per hour depending on experience (equivalent to up to £81,000 per year)
- Hybrid working – a maximum of just 3 days on-site per week.
For this role, you’ll need an Environmental Health degree alongside being EHORB Registered. Management experience is desirable but not essential, however, you will need previous experience within Private Sector Housing.
They are looking for someone to start ASAP so if you like the sound of this opportunity or know someone who may be interested, please call Michael on 07821 680 247 or email michael.williams@oysterpartnership.com
