Enforcement Officer

I am currently working with a Local Authority in Kent that are looking for a Senior Enforcement Officer to join their busy team.

The successful candidate would be able to handle their own complex caseload with minimal supervision. The caseload is likely to be a mixture of existing cases as part of a backlog, as well as new cases coming into the Council.

You will be rewarded with a very attractive package of –

• £35-40 per hour, this can be negotiable depending on experience and willingness to travel.
• Flexible working arrangements that can be tailored to suit you, but regular site visits would be required.
• 3 month initial contract (with possibility of extension).

Duties

• To manage your own case load of complex Enforcement cases.
• Maintain accurate enforcement cases.
• Maintain good communication with the Manager, and other relevant departments
• Give advice on planning matters.
• Conduct site visits as and when necessary
