Road adoptions Engineer & Design

I'm working with a local authority situated in the London area in their search for an s278/38 Engineer with the skillset to be able to aid the Highways Adoptions team by conducting both s38 and mainly s278 agreements as well as being able to conduct the design (CAD) work beforehand.

A key element of this role is working with the authority to overlook the designs and review whether there need to be changes to designs for existing or new roads. Your input would enable to make the agreement so the council can make permanent changes to the highway network to enable the approval prior to it commencing.

Furthermore, the client would also require the skillset for the right candidate to be able to jump onto the design part of the role making existing changes to adhere to comments on the work or to close the designs for them to then be proceeded via the road adoptions team.

• This role lands inside IR35, contracted for 3 months, rolling.
• WFH hybridity is available, the client would appreciate 2/3 days in the office for site visits and general office presence.
