I am currently working with a Local Authority based in the East of England who are looking for a Revenues Manager to join their team in the coming weeks.
The contract is for an initial 6-month period with the likelihood of an extension as long as you're able to demonstrate your strong managerial skills and a can do attitude. The team is comprised of several officers and Team Leader to assist you with the day to day duties.
What you need for the role?
Experience with and a strong understanding of council tax and business rates legislation is key. In addition a sound understanding of sundry debt will help you stand out from the crowd.
With the Council undertaking a hybrid working approach you will be required to attend the Council offices a couple of days a week. However, flexibility will be afforded in terms of the days you are required in. You'll be able to really get a feel for the team and make a a real impact within this Council.
