Then you probably want to know what’s involved. I am currently working with a Local Authority based in the West Midlands looking for an experience Revenues and Benefits Officer to join the team.
What they want from you:
- Good knowledge of Housing Benefits and Council Tax Reduction Legislation and have relevant work experience in processing Housing Benefits and Council Tax Support claims.
- You will need to be able to keep up to date with legislative changes affecting benefits.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge on the Civica Open Revenues system.
