Shared Service Centre Manager

We are working with a local authority situated in the West Midlands in their search for a Shared Service Centre Manager to manage of the Council’s Revenues (Council Tax, Business Rates, Recovery), Benefits, Professional Support Services and Customer Contact teams.

They are looking for an individual with the skillset to be able to manage, develop and co-ordinate the delivery of a wide range of services.

A key element of this role is working with the authority to develop the Shared Service Centre environment in line with the Council’s strategic objectives.

You will also be responsible for all staff matters, including interviewing, appointments, staff discipline, etc. The preparation of a comprehensive training programme for staff at all levels.

This role is remote working however requires you to attend the Local Authority once a month for team meetings however they are obligated to cover mileage for your travels.
