Are you a Revenues or Benefits manager looking for a change form your current role? Have you recently retired from the life of Local Government but now are finding yourself itching to get back? Then look no further, I have an exciting opportunity below for someone with your skill set.

I am currently working on an exciting, long-term opportunity for an individual with a managerial background in the Revenues & Benefits industry.

A Local Authority in the South East of England have a 12-month contract for a Revenues & Benefits Manager and are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. Contracts of these length and at this competitive rate of pay are like gold dust, so act quick!

What do you need for the job?

Previous managerial experience within a Local Authority and a legislative background in Revenues and Benefits. With a team of nearly 40 staff working across Revenues and Benefits in the Council you will need to be able to step in to this role with confidence.

A hybrid working approach will allow you to really become a part of the team and assist in your ability to manage those around you. You will be responsible for staff across Council Tax, Business Rates and Benefits and assisted by a strong set of experienced Team Leaders.

A consistent track record of managerial experience will really help you stand out from the crowd and ensure you are ready for the responsibilities encompassed with the role.

The contract is for an initial 12-month period so a dedicated and committed individual is needed to help make a difference with the impact this Council's team has. Previous experience working on Academy will also be ideal, although not essential.
