Quantity Surveyor

About the Role:

We’re seeking a skilled and driven Project/Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of delivering complex healthcare projects, ensuring value for money and excellence in project outcomes. You will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle, from inception to completion, making a significant impact on healthcare infrastructure in Manchester.

About the Company:

You will be joining an established national consultancy with approximately 50 employees throughout the UK. Your direct report will be one of the London Directors, who will consistently provide you with support and advice as needed. This director is known for their pleasant personality and is considered a joy to work with.

The company cultivates a family-like atmosphere and is distinctly non-corporate, providing you with flexibility and autonomy.

As a socially active business, they enjoy organizing activities outside of work all year round and take the entire company overseas for their annual Christmas event.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage cost planning, estimation, and financial control on major healthcare projects.
• Oversee the preparation and evaluation of tenders, contracts, and agreements.
• Conduct site visits in Manchester to ensure project progress aligns with financial targets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Provide strategic advice on procurement, risk management, and cost-effective solutions.
• Travel to London once a month to liaise with our central team.
