Principal Transport Planner

I'm working with a local authority situated in London in their search for a Principal Transport Planner who can comment on major and minor planning applications.

This role is responsible for providing technical expertise and assessing and commenting on planning applications for developments on behalf of the Local Authority. This will include mainly major and some minor applications to respond to within the statutory response time. (13 weeks major, 8 weeks minor)

A key element of this role is working with the local authority to assist with projects surrounding rural and urban areas. This local authority is amongst the top 30 in regard to how busy they're with their income of applications from private developers in the district.

• This role is 3-6 months guaranteed
• IR35 Status not determined as of yet, likely to be inside
• WFH hybridity
