Assess and assist?
We are working with a local authority situated in the West Yorkshire area in their search for a Principle Transport Planner who can comment on an urban and rural mix of planning applications.
This role is responsible for providing technical expertise and assessing and commenting on planning applications for developments on behalf of the Local Authority. This will include major and minor applications to respond to within the statutory response time. (13 weeks major, 8 weeks minor)
A key element of this role is working with the local authority to assist with projects surrounding rural and urban areas.
Not only is the main responsibility to assist on adhere to Planning applications in tandem with the highway network, but in this role - you'll also be responsible to cater for a graduate, in which the council would need the right candidate to be able to help the graduate get to a certain level that is deemed necessary.
- This role lands Inside IR35 contracted initially for 6 months, starting mid March.
- WFH hybridity is available, with an office requirement 1x a fortnight.
