A Local Authority in Surrey are looking for a Planning Officer to join the Development Management team as an interim on an initial 3 month rolling contract, covering a caseload of householder and minor applications.
This is a full time role but they are open to a condensed/shortened working week.
Experience:
·At least 2 years experience with LPA - experience with Green Belt is desirable but not essential.
·Comfortable managing a caseload of householder and minor applications with minimal supervision.
·Access to own vehicle to undertake site visits and put up site notices when required.
Working arrangements:
· Flexible working on offer - office presence/site visits needed 1 day per week, with the rest of the week remote-working if desired.
· Inside IR35.
The hourly rate ranges from £35p/h to £40p/h + depending on your experience.
