I am working with a client in the South West who are looking for a Traffic Management Consultant. My client is looking for someone who will be responsible for the following:

Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for liaising with elected councillors, community councils, the general public, and external agencies to ensure effective communication and collaborative problem-solving.

Budget Oversight & Compliance: Manage financial allocations, ensuring projects remain within budgetary constraints while strictly adhering to technical briefs, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Accident Investigation & Data Management: Lead thorough investigations into road traffic accidents, ensuring accurate documentation and analysis. Maintain and update the traffic collision database to support data-driven decision-making and safety improvements.

Implementation of Traffic Regulation Orders: Oversee the application and enforcement of Traffic Regulation Orders on highways, working closely with law enforcement and event planning panels to ensure road safety and regulatory alignment during public events and emergencies


The role is a hybrid role (1 day in the office) The rate is circa £30-35/hr (Inside)
