Open Spaces Manager

As the Open Spaces Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining a variety of public open spaces, including parks, recreation areas, nature reserves, and green spaces.

The role:

• Develop and implement strategies to maintain and improve the quality and usability of open spaces in Kent.
• Plan, organize and oversee the management of open spaces, including landscaping, maintenance, and development activities.
• Manage and supervise a team of staff responsible for the maintenance of open spaces.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including residents, community groups, and local authorities.
• Develop and manage budgets and resources, ensuring cost-effective management of open spaces.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and legal requirements.
• Identify and implement initiatives to improve the environmental sustainability of open spaces.
