The Offshore Site Manager will be responsible for coordination of the construction of the Offshore Converter Platform, export cable, array cables, foundations, and wind turbines.
This role includes the responsibility for managing the site establishment and ensuring the setup of the Project of the Principal Contractor team adheres to the Construction Phase Plan and all construction systems as required by the CDM Regulations.
Main Responsibilities
- All offshore site management activities including, Health, Safety, Environment, Security, Maintenance Pre-Handover, and team management.
- Establishment and management of the port for the commissioning and crew transfer operations and site office facilities
- Management of the Deputy Site Managers, Offshore Services Package Manager including marine coordinators, construction supervisors, surveyors, heavy lifting advisors, diving advisors, administrators
- Liaison with the Package Managers and Commissioning Managers
- Establishment and maintenance of the Offshore Site Safe system
- Ensure the construction phase Health & Safety Plan and Site rules are written, distributed to contractors, and maintained.
Requirements
- All GWO tickets including a Chester Step test
- A degree in Engineering or equivalent
- High level safety qualifications such as NEBOSH would be an advantage
- An excellent understanding of marine management, construction practices, heavy lifting and HV commissioning.
Day rate from £500+, depending on experience.
