Job Opportunity: Mechanical & Electrical Manager

Role Overview:

Join the heart of heritage preservation! As the Mechanical & Electrical Manager, you'll oversee our UNESCO World Heritage Site and its vital operations. Be the technical authority in M&E matters, championing efficient systems, compliance, and innovation. Your role is essential to maintaining historic legacy.

What’s expected from you:-

• Stewardship: Safeguard nationally significant structures within a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• Maintenance: Ensure seamless operations across our five sites and numerous buildings within the Royal Museums Greenwich Estate.
• Technical Mastery: Lead as the go-to expert in mechanical and electrical aspects, focusing on HVAC, environmental conditions, and utilities.
• Compliance: Ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met, and industry best practices are upheld.
• Asset Lifecycle: Manage and strategize the life cycle of museum M&E assets, contributing to capital investment projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage M&E maintenance, contractors, and compliance.
• Ensure environmental conditions meet museum standards.
• Oversee utilities, energy efficiency, and budgets.
• Lead capital improvement projects.
• Support sustainability, H&S, and EDI initiatives.
