In the role of Managing Accountant, your strong spreadsheet skills and ability to analyze and interpret large volumes of data will be crucial.

• You will work closely with the Strategic Business Partner, contributing to the 2024/25 Budget, Medium Term Financial Plan (MTFP), interpretation of Local Government Finance Settlement, budget monitoring, and final accounts.
• Your role involves the ongoing management and development of detailed care forecasting and reconciliation models to support future budget monitoring.
• You will lead a review of assumptions related to the proportion of care commitments for which payment is ultimately made.
• Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with the Adult Social Care Management Team to develop an action plan addressing underlying process and data issues.
