Interim Maintenance Manager Hybrid Working Negotiable Day Rate
Are you a Maintenance Manager that fancies a change of scenery? Do you work for a Council or Housing Association but would like to work with a University? Then I might just have the role for you!
The college are looking for an interim Maintenance Manager to join them on a 3 months’ contract whilst they recruit for someone permanently. Or if you get on well, they could offer you a permanent position after 3 months!
What will you be doing?
- Covering reactive, PPM and cyclical works, there’s plenty of work to get stuck into.
- You will report directly into the Domestic Bursar and manage a team of 6 multi-skilled operatives.
- Using a Building Management System (BMS) you will also help monitor energy usage to ensure the College’s carbon reduction policies are being achieved.
- Part of this role will also include working on some exciting major projects and refurbishments of the buildings on site
What do you need?
- Ideally you will have worked for a college or university, but if you have worked for; an NHS trust, housing association, local authority or something similar the College are happy to consider you for this role.
- Previous experience working as a Maintenance Manager
- A qualification in the relevant field such as; surveying, project management or construction
- If you have worked with listed or historic building this would be an added bonus!
