I am currently working with a well know local authority in the Surrey area looking for someone at the "Head of" level to come in and act as a Landlord Services Manager and assist with the day to day oversight of four operational area.
What you will be doing:
- Day to day oversight of the four operational areas: Housing Management, Senior Living, Rent Accounts and Housing Operations Support
- Make recommendations for change – to improve service and deliver savings
- Ensure each team is appropriately resourced and budgets are in place
- Undertake a review of Housing Management and Senior Living Management and staffing structure
- Undertake a review of Senior Living which will include an asset appraisal – how the accommodation should be used, taking into account the need for Extra Care in the Borough; the demand for homes within the current model and the role of the Senior Living Manager and Senior Living Community Officers. Depending on the outcome of the review, make recommendations on who should be accommodated in the current schemes, what level of support tenants should receive, how overall tenancy management should work and how and by whom that should be delivered
- Review the role, scope and functions of the Housing Operations Support Manager and team
- Review and make recommendations on/implement the resourcing of the rent Accounts Team
- Review and make recommendations/implement improved customer pathways and team communication between Housing and Customer Services
