A client of mine are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Void Surveyor to join our team.
This will be an interim contract for 6 months with the possibility for an extension or even a permanent contract.
The Void Surveyor will be responsible for assessing the condition of vacant properties, identifying maintenance and repair needs, and coordinating necessary work to prepare the properties for new occupants. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Day to day:
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of vacant properties to assess their condition.
- Identify and document maintenance and repair needs, including structural, plumbing, electrical, and cosmetic issues.
- Prepare detailed reports with findings and recommended actions.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams and contractors to schedule and oversee necessary repairs and renovations.
- Ensure that all work is completed to company standards and within budget
