HR Policy Specialist

My client is seeking a HR Policy Specialist in a local council in London for 6 months contract, with a high likelihood of extension. The hybrid role is offering £35ph-£40ph.

As an HR Policy Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies and procedures that align with our company's goals and values. You will work closely with the HR team, managers, and employees to ensure that our HR policies are fair, consistent, and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with our company's goals and values
• Review and update existing HR policies to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees regarding HR policies and procedures
• Conduct research on emerging HR trends and best practices, and make recommendations for policy changes as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that HR policies align with business needs
• Lead the development and implementation of HR communication strategies to ensure that employees are aware of HR policies and procedures
• Provide training to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures
• Monitor and track HR policy compliance and make recommendations for improvement
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed
