I am working with a well-known organisation actively seeing an experienced Housing Officer for a full time Temp role in West Sussex.
A bit about the role-
The post holder will have day to day accountability for the management of the Council’s residential properties within a defined neighbourhood area. Responsible for rental income management, tenancy compliancy, changes and estate inspections. Negotiations by the postholder with internal services and stakeholders will strive to deliver an excellent generic housing service to the residents of council.

What you will be doing-
- Undertake, action and report on regular estate inspections.
- Undertake new tenant sign ups, and home visit s within 4 weeks of a tenancy start date
- Carry out site inspections & liaise with legal to deal with boundary disputes.
- Ensure customers know their rent due, payment dates, and methods by which they can pay their rent.
- Monitor rent accounts to ensure residents in arrears are contacted promptly, and payment due taken or a mutually agreeable arrangement made and monitored.

- Liaise with all parties to seek agreement on satisfactory outcomes to reports of ASB
- Ensure all risk assessments are made using the harm centred approach in the Councils ASB Policy
How you will be working
Full time - hybrid (2 days minimum in office)
Full UK driving licence and access to car essential
