Your next role

It’s time for the next step.
You’ve earned it.

Building brighter futures.

The Stephenson MK Trust supports Milton Keynes children and schools to ensure every child can strive for success. Based across three academies in Milton Keynes, the sites encompass five different areas of need, split by age and requirement, supporting both male and female students.

As a leading SEMH school, they understand the complexity each child faces in engaging with learning. Their commitment is to provide a supportive and nurturing environment for both students and staff.

Your work here will make a positive impact on your local community.

As a new position, you’ll a pivotal role within the Trust, reporting to the CEO, ensuring that schools understand and are equipped to adhere to their legal obligations. You’ll also excel at communicating this knowledge to stakeholders who may not be as specialised as you. Your main responsibilities will cover governance, compliance, project management, and estates.

This position would suit you if you’ve worked as a school business manager before in both Multi Academy and government-maintained schools. You’ll travel between the three sites, giving you variety while leading an operational team of six.

You’ll be working with the CEO and CFO, who have been brought in to support the Trust in its next steps of growth and success. They have ambitious plans, and you will be a key part of these plans, adding an additional level of expertise to the Trust.

In terms of benefits, you will receive bespoke CPD training and progression opportunities within the Trust. You will have 27 days of holiday plus bank holidays, access to holistic treatments, free lunches, and the Local Government Pension Scheme, which in Milton Keynes offers a near 21% contribution.

If you are currently working within school operations and looking for more leadership and autonomy in your workload, contact Charlotte Tidd or Tom Morrison at Oyster to learn more about this opportunity. We understand that your CV might not be up to date, so send us what you have or look us up on LinkedIn, and we can arrange a conversation from there.

Stephenson (MK) Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and take individual responsibility for doing so.

Closing date for applications is Friday 21st June.

Oyster have partnered with Stephenson Mk Trust, any direct or third-party applications will be forwarded to Oyster.
