Are you really getting paid your worth?
Trading Standards - Food Standards Officer
South Wales
£25-40/h
Supply is down, Demand is up, but your salary has remained the same?
Supply & demand determines price, and anyone working within Trading Standards will know that there has never been as high a demand for qualified Food Standards Officers than now.
With councils stuck in salary bandings, the only way to get your true value is by providing your services as an interim.
The Role
I am working with a number of Trading Standards Departments across South Wales looking for qualified Food Standards Officers for inspection work. Some councils have a backlog that needs clearing, some have inspection targets that they need extra support to meet.
Aside from money, as an interim Food Standards Officer, your services can help councils that need you most.
How To Apply
If you’re a qualified Food Standards Officer and toying with the idea of contracting, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We are committed to an equitable recruitment process so feel free to apply in any way that suits you, via WhatsApp, video message or CV, the more creative the better.
