Financial Services Manager | Deputy Section 151

A Local Authority in great financial shape with no debt and eager to get their restructure finished are eager to secure a Deputy 151 Officer. The current post holder is an interim who will make making way for potentially yourself later down the line!

The successful candidate will be responsible for 4 Principle Accountants who deal with Capital, General Fund , Housing and the System and Creditors respectively.

This is a role perfect for an individual at managerial or group accountant level who is looking to make the step up to holding statutory positions within Local Government.

The salary on offer is between £57,600 and £61,603 and the council operates in a hybrid working environment in which a presence in the office is required once a week.
