The London real estate market is rebounding in a dynamic way - none more so than my client, who is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team.c

My client is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team at a pivotal stage of growth.

 

Having successfully completed the development phase of their assets, they are now entering full operational mode and require a dynamic finance professional to take ownership of both day-to-day financial management and strategic planning.

 

With a diverse portfolio spanning retail, PBSA (Purpose-Built Student Accommodation), hotels and residential assets, they’re looking for a commercially astute, ambitious individual who is inquisitive and focused on driving asset improvement.

 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organisation and oversee the operational function of 2 of their assets.

 

You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.

 

Responsibilities:

Cash Flow & Credit Control:

  • Oversee rent collection, invoice processing, and payment runs.
  • Maintain cash-flow forecasts and ensure operational liquidity.
  • Lead credit control and manage tenant escalations.

Cost & Efficiency Management:

  • Track CAPEX/OPEX vs. budget; recommend corrective actions.
  • Drive cost optimisation and profitability initiatives.

Financial Operations:

  • Manage daily finance tasks, ledgers, and reconciliations.
  • Own month-end close and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Prepare statutory accounts and ensure tax/regulatory compliance.

Deals, Valuation & Research:

  • Support transactions, due diligence, and investment materials.
  • Assist with deal structuring and financial modelling (DCF, IRR, etc.).
  • Conduct market research and performance benchmarking.

Reporting:

  • Support budgeting, reforecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Deliver clear financial reports for stakeholders.
  • Assist with compliance reporting for fundraising/refinancing.

 

This role is for someone who is interested in being apart of a close-knit team who are actively investing in new assets and growing their already strong portfolio.
