We’re working with a council based in the West Midlands who are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join them in their place directorate for a minimum of six months.
Falling under the directorate are Highways, Leisure, Waste, Libraries and Licensing. The council looking for an individual who has three years’ experience within Local Government Finance and are comfortable with someone working remotely but joining them for occasional meetings.
Main Responsibilities Include…
- Delivering financial advice to Heads of Service including monthly budget monitoring and control advice.
- Carrying out financial and scenario modelling for the aforementioned service areas.
- Contributing towards the working papers for the council’s statutory accounts.
