This is a brand-new role that has been created by a council in North Oxfordshire, with a recent restructure, this is an exciting time to join the team.
With it being a new position, gives you the chance to really make a difference and make improvements to the efficiency of the operation delivery and really make an impact in what you do.
With most facilities Manager positions this will offer variety, where no one day is the same, needing someone with exceptional skills in soft services as well as hard services, needing know how to get the best out of employees and contractors, knowledge of health and safety, along with good communication and negotiation skills.
You will be well organised and able to problem solve effectively. An understanding of financial and budget management will be essential to ensure you receive excellent value for money.
As well as this, you will be the Energy champion, so keeping up with environmentally advantageous products will also be key.
