This is a chance to work with a world-renowned charity The Salvation Army. Over the last year the charity has had some exciting changes and invested heavily in their property department doubling in size from 40 to 80 and this is one of the final pieces to the puzzle.
The Salvation Army is a household name when it come to the Charity sector. However, you may not know that their portfolio of properties is extensive and includes Churches, Farms, Houses, Office Blocks and more.
What we are looking for is a project manager to help with the projects of these vast and eclectic portfolio of properties. Your projects will be high value maintenance works starting from £300k into the multi-million-pound brackets. Varying from refurbishment, new builds, repurposing and everything else.
With such a large array of properties, no one project will be the same constantly adding news skills to your repertoire, working closely with all stakeholders defining project goals.
Knowing the projects you are working on are helping the community around you and helping improves the lives of others, will give you the job satisfaction that you didn’t realise you were missing.
There will be no direct reports to you, leaving you to get on with the job at hand and will be responsible for appointing and managing contractors on site, as well as costs & programme management.
This is a regional role that covers the Midlands / West Midlands and parts of Wales. When not on site, you will get the comfort of working from home or should you prefer an office, then the head office is based in Birmingham. A company car is provided along with travel expenses for any travel that is required.
