A council based in the South East of England are looking for an committed and skilled officer to join their Environmental Enforcement team. The role will be a 36-hour working week on an initial 3-month contract with possible extension.
The Role
By joining the council, you will form a key part of the team, being accountable for taking the appropriate action for fly-tipping, abandoned vehicles, and environmental crime in your patch.
This will require you to conduct manual investigation on site and identifying responsible parties. This may include taking enforcement actions, such as the issuing of fixed penalty notices (FPN).
