We are looking for a PA to the Head of a fantastic junior school in the heart of London.

This is a vibrant institution committed to excellence and innovation. Located in fabulous space of Gray’s Inn, it certainly is a space you will be pleased to call work. They are seeking a dynamic Personal Assistant to support the Head and the Professional Services Team.

Purpose of the Post:

  • Provide efficient PA support to the Head.
  • Oversee administrative support across shared services and the Professional Services Team.
  • Act on behalf of the Head in their absence.
  • Supervise the School’s Receptionist.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Diary Management: Organise meetings and appointments.
  • Correspondence: Manage incoming calls, emails, and staff requests.
  • Documentation: Draft letters, reports, and staff communications.
  • Visitors: Meet and greet visitors.
  • Minutes: Take, type, and store meeting minutes.
  • Confidentiality: Handle confidential documents with discretion.
  • Staff Meetings: Attend and minute staff briefings and meetings.
  • SMT Coordination: Coordinate arrangements for SMT meetings.
  • Governance: Liaise with the Clerk to Governors.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review procedures to enhance effectiveness.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or similar role.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and intranet management.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young persons.
