A Housing Provider based in Tamworth are seeking a Disability Facilities Coordinator to join their team. Experience and an understanding in Housing Adaptations Policies and DFG legislation and procedures is essential.

Start date: March 2024

Contract length: 6 months with likelihood of extension

Working pattern: Hybrid, offering 3 days working from home per week


  • Providing support to elderly, vulnerable and disabled clients of the Adaptations Service who wish to undertake adaptations to their homes
  • Verifying applications
  • Triaging new referrals
  • Adding new referrals to the waiting list
  • Assisting with applications
  • Cross referencing tenancies and eligibility
  • Providing updates to residents via email, telephone and letter
  • Liaising with contractors regarding new and outstanding works
  • Raising works and chasing outstanding orders
  • Chasing follow up works
