A Local Authority is seeking a talented and experienced Data Analyst to join our local authority team based in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside are looking for a talented and experienced Data Analyst to join their team.

As a Data Analyst, you will play a vital role in helping to provide insight and analysis to support the decision-making process across a range of projects and initiatives.

Working in a supportive and dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to use your analytical skills to help solve complex problems, identify trends and patterns, and provide recommendations to stakeholders. Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and analyze data using a range of analytical tools and techniques
• Develop and maintain databases and data systems to support accurate and efficient data analysis
• Create insightful reports, visualizations, and dashboards to help communicate complex data analysis to stakeholders
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver projects on time and to a high standard
• Attend meetings and presentations to discuss project findings and recommendations

Requirements:

• Experience in data analysis, database management, and reporting
• Strong analytical skills and experience in using data analysis software (e.g., SQL, R, Python)
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Experience in local government or the public sector is desirable but not essential
