Are you looking to propel your career in a highly established Scottish renewables company?

Our Scotland based client is looking for an experienced Offshore Wind Commissioning Manager. As the Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for managing the commissioning phase of our offshore wind projects, ensuring that they are delivered safely, on-time, and within budget.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the commissioning plan and schedule for offshore wind projects
  • Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure that commissioning activities are coordinated with construction activities
  • Manage the commissioning team, including contractors and vendors, to ensure that all work is performed safely and to the highest quality standards
  • Develop and maintain commissioning procedures and standards
  • Ensure that commissioning activities are conducted in compliance with all applicable regulations, industry standards, and best practices
  • Ensure that all commissioning documentation is completed accurately and on time
  • Provide regular progress updates to project management and stakeholders
  • Manage the handover of completed projects to the operations team

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in offshore wind commissioning, including experience in a leadership role
  • Strong understanding of offshore wind turbine systems and associated infrastructure
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to offshore wind commissioning
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

This role offers a competitive salary of £70,000 - £85,000 depending on experience, a range of benefits, and the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting offshore wind projects in the industry.
