We are seeking an individual experienced in the production of working papers for the statement of accounts within Local Authorities, specifically with regards to Capital.
This is a completely remote working role based in the East Midlands and the organisation are seeking someone to help produce accounts associated with the 2022/2023 financial year.
The successful individual will join the council until the middle of summer and then be asked to work ad hoc days to support the council in responding to external audit queries.
Main Responsibilities Include…
- Leading on the production of working papers associated with Capital Accounting within the Authority.
- Produce Capital Monitoring for 22/23 Q4 and set up Capital Monitoring for 23/24.
- Being the point of contact with regards to liaising with auditors on an Ad Hoc basis during the summer once the accounts have been submitted.
