Business Rates Officer

A Local Authority in the West Midlands is looking for a Business Rates Officer on a contract basis. They are looking for someone who can work alongside their Business Rates Team for a 6-month rolling contract.

This role is entirely flexible and does not require any traveling as you can work from the comfort of your home and have the equipment couriered to you.

Details are as follows:

• You will be determining liability for Council tax and Business rates including the entitlement to any discounts, reliefs, and exemptions promptly, in accordance with legislation and current policies.
• You will be updating relevant Business Rates accounts

What they need from you:

• Experience using the Academy system
• Knowledge of Business Rates and Council Tax
• Experience with numerical data, information, and technology.
