Benefits Team Leader

A Local Authority based in the East Midlands are currently working with are looking for a Benefits Team Leader The contract will be for an initial 6-month period with the likelihood of an extension beyond this.

In this role, you will need to effectively lead the day-to-day operation and performance of a Benefits Team responsible for dealing with the accurate and timely determination of applications for Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support in accordance with legislation, local policies, strategies, and government directives.

Academy experience is essential for this position.

Will I have to collect equipment and plan a journey to get there and back, I hear you ask?

Absolutely not, the council will courier your equipment free of charge, with the only stressful part of opening your front door!
