Benefit Assessment Officer

A Local Authority based in the East Midlands area is looking for a Benefits Assessment officer to join their team ASAP for an initial 3-month period, with the scope to extend.

The role will allow you the flexibility of working from home, savings hours of commute time! The Council will also courier IT Equipment straight to your doorstep so nothing is needed on your behalf.

So, what will you need? In order to be a great fit for this role you will need experience working through Assessments within a Local Authority.

With legislation changing so often, ideally you will need to have kept up to date with recent updates and bring it into your day-to-day role.

You will need to know how to assess and process new claims and deal with general enquiries from claimants. Experience on Comino (Academy) is also essential to joining this Council.
