Benefit Assessment Officer

I am working with a Local Authority based in the South East who is looking for a Benefit Assessment Officer to join their team in the next couple of weeks. The contract is for your standard 3-month initial period, however, get your head down and demonstrate your skills and an extension is likely.

Whilst many Councils are turning more to a hybrid working model, fear not as this role allows you to work from the comfort of your own home! The Council is even happy to courier you're equipment straight to your doorstep/

Previous and ideally extensive experience in the Benefits industry is what will help you stand out from the crowd. Up-to-date knowledge of Benefit legislation is key so you can hit the ground running and assist in dealing with benefit assessment and council tax reduction.
