A Local Authority who I am working closely with is on the search for a Benefit Assessment Officer to join the productive team.
This position gives you the opportunity to work remotely for an initial period of 3-months.
As a Benefits Assessment Officer, you will provide advice and guidance to those who are entitled to benefits. Alongside this, you will determine the eligibility of claimants. Part of this role will involve contacting third parties to check income verification.
You will be using Northgate and Information@Work so it would be excellent if you have knowledge of this system.
All you need is 3 things...
- Previous experience working within a Local Authority,
- Knowledge of the Benefits industry with a strong understanding of the legislation.
- Up-to-date DBS.
