Associate Director Quantity Surveyor

This is an opportunity to join a specific close-knit team of 21 within a well-known business.

The role is for someone to take the lead on a brand-new mixed-use office/retail development in Chelsea valuing at around £80m.

This team operate slightly differently to others as they tend to act as the QS and the PM on most projects they deliver.

With this particular project, they are looking for someone to lead on the cost side, but in the future, you would have the opportunity to be exposed to project management if it’s something that interests you.

The team work across most sectors so you will have exposure to a variety of different schemes throughout your career with them – all private and typically within central London.

The chap that heads up the team is brilliant; he has worked his way up from a graduate position since joining the business 18 years ago, giving you an idea of the progression opportunities the company has on offer.

He is a big advocate of flexible working, and a big part of his success has come from his staff retention rate, how he is as a person and how he treats the team – on Friday he is taking them all out for the day; Puppy Yoga followed by a Formula 1 Simulation experience and a nice meal (he does his best to cater for everyone).
