Privately Owned Developer and Operator

An exciting position has become arisen for a full-time Accounts Manager based in Maidstone.

The company has enjoyed many successes and continued growth over the past number of years and do not plan to stop. They have created this important new role where you will help set up and then manage new resilient and scalable accounts processes and procedures.

Your experience and knowledge will be instrumental in the delivery and success of the accounts and finance function of the business where you will work as part of a small multi-functional team.

No two days are the same in this fast paced and changing environment.

Your work will focus on property management and development functions, but you’ll be involved across the development life cycle where the company source and appraise sites, complete purchases, arrange funding, monitor construction, and maintain and repair homes.

What will the role look like?

  • Utilise bookkeeping/CRM software
  • Set up and deliver processes and procedures
  • Day-to-day data processing
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Ledger management
  • Reporting
  • Assist with budget preparation
  • Accounts payable
  • Manage payment runs and payroll
  • General ad-hoc day-to-day tasks


  • Qualified AAT/CIMA
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Good understating of business systems and processes
  • Adaptable in a busy and rapidly growing organisation
  • Full driving licence and reliable personal vehicle
  • Some experience in real estate sector


  • Experience using YARDI software
  • Passionate about BTR sector and service excellence for residents
  • Full ACA/ACCA

Their estate of 150 homes (built and pipeline) is based in East Kent and their office is in Maidstone.

The team are passionate, small but growing and have already delivered £50M pipeline, on their way to the next milestone of £150M.
